A few days ago, I found out that fellow Annalemma 7 contributor Nick Ripatrazone is writing an appreciation on the poem, stories, and essays in the issue. His coverage of “Rainbow Dogs” is linked above. I’m humbled. Nick takes an interesting approach to the content, giving each piece a thoughtful and highly personal entry on his blog. These aren’t reviews—what he’s doing is far more intimate, and it’s truly an interesting read. And because I feel damned lucky to be among the other amazing writers in the issue (a mistake was made somewhere, right?), it’s a special treat to see what he has to say.
