ALEX Brand Guide: Voice & Partner Communications System
The Ask: Jellyvision's product, ALEX — a decision support tool that helps employees choose benefits with confidence — was gaining traction with enterprise clients. Those clients needed to communicate ALEX to their own employees, but without a shared standard, the brand was at risk of being explained badly by the people responsible for introducing it.

My Role: I created Jellyvision's first external brand guide, writing the voice principles and usage standards that defined how partners, resellers, and enterprise clients could talk about ALEX accurately and on-brand. The guide was part of a broader employer-to-employee communications system I developed—including email campaign templates, posters, and flyers—that gave clients the tools to introduce ALEX in ALEX's voice, not their own.

The Outcome: Issued to all customers, the guide became the standard for partner communications and contributed to smoother client onboarding. More importantly, it codified something harder to quantify: a brand voice built on the idea that clarity is an act of care—that helping someone understand something complicated is, itself, a form of respect.
The Benefits Communication Research Series (ALEX / Jellyvision)
The Ask: Position Jellyvision as a leading voice in HR and benefits communication by turning original market research into a series of newsworthy, data-driven reports for an HR executive audience.
My Role: I created the Benefits Communication research series — helping shape the survey questions with our research partners, synthesizing the raw data, and writing the annual reports that turned statistics into compelling narratives. The program began with Olinger Group and grew to Harris Poll as it scaled. I also authored bylined articles on the findings in the HR trade press, including Strategic HR Review.
The Outcome: A multi-year research series that consistently generated earned media in major HR and benefits publications. The reports became flagship thought-leadership and lead-generation assets — and established me as a named subject-matter source, quoted in outlets such as PLANSPONSOR.
